Peter & Eleanor

Privacy notice

This notice explains how Peter and Eleanor look after the information collected on peterandel.co.uk, the website for our wedding.

What we collect

  • Your name and who is in your household.
  • The username we gave you to sign in.
  • Your RSVP answers and meal choices.
  • Dietary requirements or allergies, only if you choose to tell us.

The site keeps a sign-in session in your browser so that you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google can see your IP address when a page opens.

Why we collect it

To organise the wedding: counting guests, planning the catering and arranging seating.

Who sees it

Peter and Eleanor can see everything you enter. The venue and caterer only see what they need, such as numbers and dietary needs. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase, processes the information for us.

Dietary and allergy details

These are optional and can be sensitive. We only ask so that the caterer can look after you, and only with your agreement. You can ask us to remove them at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your information until the wedding is over and we no longer need it, then we delete it.

Corrections and deletion

You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.

Please tell Peter or Eleanor directly.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
